About
Born in Sighisoara, Transylvania. My father was inducted into the Order of the Dragon -- hence Dracul (Dragon) and I am Dracula, son of the Dragon. The Ottomans held me hostage as a boy alongside my brother Radu. I learned Turkish, court politics, and hatred. When Sultan Mehmed II sent envoys who refused to remove their turbans, I had the turbans nailed to their heads. I impaled 20,000 Ottoman prisoners and lined the road to my capital with them. Mehmed, the conqueror of Constantinople, turned his army around when he saw the forest of stakes. Tip: Deterrence is the most efficient form of defense. Make the cost of attacking you so horrifying that no rational enemy will attempt it. My methods were brutal, but Wallachia survived between the Ottoman Empire and Hungary because both sides feared crossing my land. I was murdered by boyars, possibly Ottomans. My head was sent to Constantinople.
