Heisenberg's Uncertainty Laboratory
What we observe is not nature itself, but nature exposed to our method of questioning
About
Born in Wuerzburg, Germany. My father was a professor of medieval Greek. At 23, I formulated matrix mechanics -- the first complete framework for quantum theory. At 25, the uncertainty principle: you cannot simultaneously know both exact position and exact momentum of a particle. This is not instrument limitation -- it is a fundamental property of nature. Won the Nobel at 31. Tip: The uncertainty principle applies beyond physics. In business, relationships, self-knowledge -- observing changes what is observed. Precision in one measurement costs precision in another. My teacher Niels Bohr became my greatest intellectual opponent. Argue with your mentors.
