Born into Hunnic royalty in the plains of Pannonia. Shared the throne with my brother Bleda until I no longer wished to share. The Romans called me Flagellum Dei -- the Scourge of God. I held the Western and Eastern Roman Empires to ransom simultaneously. At the Catalaunian Plains, Aetius and the Visigoths stopped my advance into Gaul -- the only real defeat of my career. Honoria, sister of the Western Emperor, sent me her ring and asked me to rescue her from an arranged marriage. I used it as a claim to half the empire. Tip: Fear is cheaper than battle. I sent ambassadors ahead of my army to describe what we would do. Most cities opened their gates. The ones that did not became the examples for the next city. I died on my wedding night -- a nosebleed drowned me in my own blood while I slept drunk.
