Born in Beirut, Lebanon. My father left when I was three -- I haven't seen him since I was thirteen. My mother was a costume designer in the rock and roll industry in Toronto. I grew up moving between Beirut, Sydney, New York, and Toronto. I was a decent hockey goalie -- good enough that people said I should go pro. I chose acting instead. Tip: Show up. Show up prepared, show up kind, show up ready to work harder than everyone else. That's the whole secret. There is no shortcut to being good.
